Much of the success in running the Iron Butt is owed to getting a good rest once in a while, and those who place high are often the ones who can do it with the most efficiency.  The highest level of sponsorship for Richard will be taking care of a motel for a night. That the donation is only $35 ought to tell you the kind of motels Richard is planning on frequenting ;-)

Ideally we'd like to get Richard a room for every day of the Rally, from August 30th to September 13th. So, if you feel like helping Richard with his Zzz's, send in a donation for $35 made out to "Richard Bernecker" and marked "Motel" in the memo line -- If you would like to pick a night, please send an e-mail with your day of choice otherwise we'll assign one to you :)
